The “Certified Asset Management Assessor” (CAMA) certification validates an individual’s global credentials in asset management knowledge and comprehension. 

The GFMAM ISO55001 Auditor Assessor Specification is the basis for this multiple-choice exam.

SMRP and several international partners created the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) program to evaluate an individual’s qualifications to audit asset management systems. 

The CAMA exam is administered by World Partners in Asset Management, a separate entity owned in part by SMRP. 

This certification is useful for professionals who want to demonstrate their understanding of true asset management and the new ISO 55001 standard for AM management systems.

The certification is conducted in accordance with 17024 and complies with

  • First Edition, Version 2 English GFMAM Specification, GFMAM Competency Specification for an ISO 55001 Asset Management System Auditor/Assessor
  • Part 5, section 5 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems — Part 5: Competence requirements for asset management system certification
